Those were both excellent. I'm sure there have been others, too, that just don't stick out in my mind. I loved Sweet Dee Gets Audited

Do you read the comments week to week? There's been anger and mockery of the reviewer this entire season, but at some point when the reviewer and commentators continually walk away with wildly different impressions of basically every episode, no one is going to get so worked up anymore. Your comment is ridiculous

Because Freddie is completely brainwashed. We see him getting brainwashed in intense and excruciating detail for much of the film - Dodd tears Freddie down psychologically and then offers relief from the very psychological violence he is imposing. This links Dodd, in Freddie's mind, inexorably to

I thought that for a long time. Noel Murray's review on this site changed my mind somewhat. The review, at the very least, made me appreciate the 'sex has consequences' theme that would soon become extremely significant for the season.

Is the ending to Normal Again really ambiguous? I never considered the final scene to be anything but the end of Buffy's delusion. I mean, by the end of the episode she hadn't even taken the antitdote. DId they ever specify what the demon's powers were?

I'm just not sure what parts of the plot people think didn't make sense or which actions by the characters were baffling. That was not my reaction at all

That's exactly what I mean. Thematically, it was complex and not so easy to pin down but I feel that is true of a lot of great movies, especially on first viewing. However, nothing about the movie was outright baffling to me, and arguments that its plotless confuse me.
