I am not a bimbo
Maybe she'll sing her famous anthem whilst her fellow gop apologist Dennis Miller looks on. That'd be good tv.

"Marr has set a pretty low bar."

Didn't realize the suicide episode was called "My Name is Alex." Looking forward to the "very special episode" write-up—it was pretty mind-blowing to the ten-year-old me.

Anybody remember the episode of Family Ties where the whole episode is Alex at a therapy session after a friend of his kills himself? It's one of the most f*cked up things I've ever seen on tv. Alex is "on the couch" in the shrink's office but his memories of the dead kid are staged almost theatrically with dark,

Wait. "Night Court" had political content? All I remember is Bull being goofy and John Laroquette being a horndog. What am I forgetting?

I think this is one of the novels
King says he doesn't remember writing because he was so coked out.

wasn't the rape episode
more special than this one? I mean, Edith was nearly raped. Isn't that special?

Please don't break my big gay heart.

why?
This show has to be cheap to produce, and it airs at like 2 a.m. on Sundays in most markets that carry it. Oh yeah, and it's really good. What the hell gives?

needless sequels, part 376
anybody else up for an "Urban Legend" reboot?

Ebert says:
"In a plot twist of startling originality, she is not pregnant."

Talking goat is not a deal-breaker. Carlos Mencia is.

judd nelson…that dude was FIERCE!

@Haden: that's right, I forgot about Bullock's intro by ex-director. But my point was that Oprah was the only person not involved in the creation of the film who did one of these things.

I get the sense she's trying to look high all the time. Or trying to look like she has a flat affect disorder.

The most questionable thing about the horror segment were the two people who introduced it. (Though ya'll are right—many of the films included in the homage were also iffy, to say the least)

Though I don't doubt the sincerity of what she said, the IDEA of Oprah giving the Gabby Sidibe tribute was bad. It came off as patronizing and inconsistent because every other nominee had a co-star offering his/her intro. For the young, African-American star star they break out the Cinderella story.

the zelda scenes are very "Baby Jane."

@Yeah Avatar: Agreed. Also when Gage hides under the bed and slices Gwynne's tendon.

@Tallgordon: there was a Tommyknockers film, with Jimmy Smits in the lead role. I think the lady who played Agnes DePesto in Moonlighting was also in it.
