I think we can all agree that the show got one thing right: the best LA has to offer are freeways and legoland.

Glad I could generate some discussion, but no one's really taken on my central point.
I said I was ashamed.
I bought it. No excuses here. I liked it for a time period of greater than 1 month but less than 3 months.
Don't forget the middle school boner-tastic grindfulness of The Bangles' "Eternal Flame". Mm, loving the taste of 20-year old shame.
Agree with all your comments…you said it much better than I could have.
Put me in the camp of "Tired of all this Greatest Generation" crap. It's always felt more like boomer attention-getting trying to atone for their neglect/rebellion back in the 60s. I get it, you should have been more respectful of your dads back in '68.
Does MJ seem like the kind of guy who would willingly walk away from any kind or form of competition while his skills are in any kind of form.
I love Glee, and I still almost pissed myself laughing at the rant.
UMD: Way to register!
"I eat necrotic flesh before each performance"
Again, perhaps the dingo ate your baby.
The trepanning of the gunner, "Lazarus" Day, is one of my favorite scenes in the whole series.
Seconded!! Patrick Tull brings these books to life. All hail!
I meant "transparent falsehood" not "transparent fallacy".
The second book ("Post Captain") is the hardest the first time through the series.
Tasha you got it right…a potentially awkward moment that was brushed over by a transparent fallacy.
I love the Patrick Tull narrations. Just as Byron said, they are perfect for long drives. They have ruined me for other audiobooks.
You make a good point. Thinking back, I didn't realize that I liked Post Captain the best until I'd read through the entire series once and then reread it PC on my second time through the series.
Yes this happened a lot which is why I never questioned the Tom Mota storyline.
