Suppoesedly, Disney/Marvel was negotiating with Sony to put the Osbourne building into Avengers, but they ran out of time to do it digitally and have it look OK. So, there could be wiggle room for the right amount of money.
Since this basically only applies to Knocked Up, I would say the looks thing is totally overshadowed by the fact the female lead is Katherine Heigel.
