Someone once compared "Roseanne" and "Married …. With Children" as two sit-coms featuring lower-middle-class families. I felt he neglected to note that the latter show was about four village idiots. Roseanne had some real people in it. Not one of the greatest TV shows ever, but it definitely did have its moments.
