So the point of that scene at the end of 'The Avengers' that made random nerds in the audience clap was…?  Personally, my excitement level for the sequel is pretty meh.  If it's anything like the first one, I'll watch it once, enjoy the experience, and then not think about it again until I randomly come across it on

Wait, really?  No alcohol?  Why?

Red Wedding.  I also think that 'Homeland,' despite an up-and-down second season, had some great moments.  Particularly fond of the scene where Carrie and Brody hook up in the hotel and the entire thing is being surveillanced.  Awkward can be memorable, too.  That episode also had my favorite Brody Breakdown of the

So long as they come quickly, anyway…

You don't understand?  I thought the flow chart made things pretty clear.

Best thing being…the new cover?  The inventive name for this entry in TBS?  In all seriousness, I look forward to hearing these cuts.  Relaxed country Dylan is cool.

I completely understand why there was backlash at the time of its release (because everybody's expectations for Dylan were absurdly high), but taking it for what it actually is—a relaxed country album of covers sung by Bob Dylan—I don't know how you can actively hate it.  Obviously it isn't 'Highway 61 Revisited' or

I think the beauty of his performance is that he makes the character all his own.  It would have been so, so easy to just play the thing in a hollow mold of Anthony Hopkins.  Mikkelson and the showrunners are smart to completely avoid even the possibility of that.  I'm not going to argue for one actor over the other

Ooo, goody, a question about death and music.  Wheelhouses of mine, both of them.  Far, far too many options.  Mark Knopfler's cover of Bob Dylan's "Restless Farewell" is appropriately moving and epic.  Harry Nilsson's cover of "Many Rivers to Cross."  Brian Fallon solo acoustic version of "The '59 Sound."

Done and done.

I'm not a metal fan whatsoever (the extent of my metal collection is a few Metallica albums, eh), but I downloaded this one and have enjoyed it immensely thus far.  Was scared away because of the "black metal" tag initially.  Baseless fears.

Stumbled onto this album while going down the rabbit hole that is Metacritic.  Love it completely.  God bless the Internet and its ability to show me to music I might otherwise not have been aware of.

No way this could ever fall into the Law of Diminishing Returns.

Well there's a band I have not thought about in almost a decade.

Glad that NBC decided not to just dine and dash.

Probably the ultimate example of a Grower Band for me.  I don't think I've ever been completely drawn into any of their albums upon first listen, but all of their albums hook me after five listens or so.  I love The National.  Beautifully dark music that is hypnotic once you get into a groove with it.  The claim

First one was funny, second one eh and I'll watch the third one, because I can't just watch two movies in a trilogy.  Once you've committed to watching the second movie, you've made an unspoken deal with the universe to watch #3.    After the third movie, though, you're off the hook.  So five years from now, when

Jaws
Highway 61 Revisited
A River Runs Through It (the novella, not the movie)
Any album The Beatles did after Help!
Simpsons (Seasons 4-9)
etc

Idaho?  Must listen to immediately.

I'm not quite that way, mainly because I would probably do awful in challenges (I think I would be OK at most things, but OK at puzzles and OK at swimming and OK at throwing crap = mediocre, yes?).  I just love complex challenges that are split between sea/land and require the tribe to do at least four things.
