I can only imagine how long it took to put Dyer's Eve together. Holy shit.

THANK YOU. I've been saying for years that the actual drum parts on AJFA are awesome. There's a lot of studio doctoring going on (cough… Dyer's Eve… cough) but Lars threw down some pretty vicious grooves on that album. Listen to what he's doing on The Frayed Ends Of Sanity - killer stuff. Shame the production wasn't…
Yeah, this moment and the whole Fry/Lars plot twist always worked for me too. It's no Luck Of The Fryrish, I think I'd put it closer to the Time Keeps On Slippin' reveal.
I actually think the first CC season is the best from the new run. There are some legitimate top ten episodes in there. The middle-ish part of the CC run isn't as great but I do think it ended on a high note overall.
Yes! That scene is fucking PERFECT.
I'm a big defender of post-Fox Futurama, but I agree with this. They went for the big sappy moment too often in the new episodes. It worked sometimes, like in The Late Phillip J. Fry and fucking Meanwhile which is going to be underrated forever. I'll even throw Lethal Inspection's somewhat nonsensical ending a bone…
As a punk rock and grunge junkie, I dug this a lot. Seems like a "good not great" sort of show but I'll definitely be tuning in next week.
Bender's Big Score is seriously masterful stuff. I'm a defender of the movies and Futurama's revival run in general, but Big Score always stood out to me as criminally underrated.
Had me reeeeeeal fuckin' worried about Bronn there, guy.
