"If you’ve had the pleasure of reading one of Haruki Murakami’s novels…"

Same here. There's probably a lot more crossover of fans between classical and jazz than any other disparate genres of music. It would have been just as much fun for him to be horrified by the idea of brunch during a jazz concert.

Last Man On Earth killed off a major character recently with something similar. (Purposely vague in case some are still catching up.)

Costco also has a bunch of the Ghibli stuff on Bluray for $12.99, in case any of you want to endure Costco checkout lines.

"plot points are just picked up and dropped without warning"

Lotta people getting fucked then.

The kid's not doing much for me. He came across as immediately unlikable. I really thought they'd give the kid and Tandy some chemistry but they seemed to work very hard at putting them at odds. Of all people there, I'd think a kid would appreciate Tandy's goofy nature, being basically a full-grown child himself. The

Eh, I think you're thinking too much about this. I think it was simply intended to represent a hand-held gaming system, like the Switch, something that would exist in the near future. It wasn't lit enough to really see what it was, so it wasn't intended for you to really put much thought into.

This doesn't look anywhere near as funny as Ishtar.

Only connected during elections? That's the best time to make sure they're NOT connected.

You know him as Joe Policeman from the "What's Goin' Down" episode of "That's My Momma."

Pretty sure the bagels were just bread cut into circles with holes in the middle (not powdered donuts, as the review suggests.) That makes it even funnier.

Keep an eye on that, it looks like they're playing hopscotch with the dates and times. I know IMDB listed those four episodes on those days when I posted this, but now they're showing ambiguous "January 1, 2017" dates on those, and then firm dates for later episodes.

And a warm "yawn" to you, sir.

FOUR episodes next week - two on Tuesday, two on Thursday.
