I thought that FBI conversation last season was Kevin hallucinating, but maybe we were supposed to take it at face value… I gotta watch S1 again

@JohnTeti Why Mr. Teti, I'm impressed you know about the Riemann Hypothesis! Love, a mathematician.

A serious man allusion was in S1 in the fable the dude living across from Colin hanks told about how only a fool tries to fix all the world's problems. Also when the guy called malvo a demon in what I think was Yiddish. Probably in other places I don't remember as well.

I thought I read somewhere that last season was primarily inspired by Fargo and A Serious Man, and this season was MIller's Crossing, No Country For Old Men, and The Man Who Wasn't There. I might be mis-remembering tho.

I hate driving anywhere that doesn't have Michigan Lefts! (I'm Asian…frequently gets lost…something something I drive poorly and like rice). Seriously though, Michigan Lefts are great.

foist is one of my favorite words

*"remains" to be seen

Just got home from their show in Detroit. Goddamn, I'm still buzzing from it. Set list was:
Never Ending Circles, We Sink, Keep You By My Side, Lies, Make Them Gold, Empty Threat, Tether, Playing Dead, Science / Visions, Gun, Bury It, Under the Tide, Recover, Clearest Blue, Leave a Trace
Encore: Afterglow, The Mother We

Don't count out the NFC North, we're always in contention. Let's see, the Packers are good, and then there's the Lions (j/o motion…I'm from Detroit). And Minn and Chi are always somewhere between awful and mediocre.

Been listening to this on npr's site all week. So fucking good. And apparently Clearest Blue is about an encroaching panic attack and keeping it away…makes me like it even more, and it was already my favorite song they had pre-released even before knowing that.
And the way Lauren sings the word 'when' in the chorus of

Stewart's delivery of the line "then spoon me" was amazing

Why not Zoidberg? (can replace Zoidberg with any word, just use his inflection)

I'm the one who nays

Shame if you missed 6, 7 and 8. They were the best three of the season by a lot.

Lera Lynn. Downloaded her two LPs a couple days ago, and they're great.

More like a Taylor Swift song, but point taken.

I'm betting that in the final episode it will be revealed that the kid is, in fact, Ray's son. Irish recessive genes and whatnot. Not like the kid looks anything like the rapist in prison either.

I thought the speedy bike guy was the cartel's guy, and someone working for Diaz set up the string trap…could be remembering incorrectly tho

Fewer…nevermind

I apologize in advance for being *pedantic (because your intended meaning is clear from context), but succession has an entirely different meaning than secession. I fuck up words plenty myself tho :)
