Huzzah!

He replaced Tig as Sargent at Arms with Chibbs by telling him not to sit in the chair immediately to the right of him as the President.

I'm going to disagree with what seems to be the common feeling here. I thought it was pretty good. Remember this wasn't really supposed to be a self-contained episode but was really the back half of the finale so the tone is pretty typical of the "resolution" portion of these after the big fireworks in the first 3/4s

Every week someone makes a Laertes/Opie comparison. I just don't see it.  Opie and Jax are friends. Laertes and Hamlet were not. Laertes ultimately conspires with Claudius to fight as his champion against Hamlet (based on being manipulated, but still).   Don't see that happening here although I guess it

It was Chibs and Jax who used the RPGs.

Sutter seems to have some weird fetish about blowing poor Kenny up.

Empire Strikes Back actually. Please turn in your nerd card.

I would assume that that is same Otto (i.e. Kurt Sutter) currently rotting way in solitary confinement.

Isn't the Polonius role sorta split between Piney and Bobby Elvis though? Jax could kill Bobby accidentally to keep with the structure if they wanted to.

"One…Two… Seven"

Title of episode is actually "Gimcrack & Bunkum" per HBO.

Celebrity Cornhole shouldn't be far off.

But, but, but she said she hasn't had a "single needle"! Despite the fact that her face doesn't seem to even move when she speaks. That's, like, totally normal right?

My precise reaction.

It was in response to Tommy saying that Sam was the best thing in his life and it was "That is so fucking sad" as in "you really have had a lousy life if I'm the best thing in it."

Don't forget Upside-down Australian Stig.
