Seconded. There has been more Billy Zaptka than Cristin Milioti. This is not how things should be.

Me too. This episode was really missing the mother. She's a nice, calming, low-key presence around this bunch of pantomime dames.

Ach, Harmon *would* be a Redditor.
Season three is patchy as hell towards the end, because he was, and it lead to him being sacked.
Bugger - did I just summon him?

Also, the Mother is only going to Farhampton to play at the wedding because Ted taught at that particular New York college where he met Rachel Bilson, dated her, knew her well enough five or whatever years on to chat about how Barney and Robin's wedding band had just dropped out on them and for her to recommend her

UK here. I second what Grimmy says. It took me a while to realise he wasn't an American actor doing an English accent - we'd never heard of him over here.

Check out The Crow Road, excellent BBC novel adaptation from 1996 (all four parts are on YouTube, and it's not too available anywhere else). He's the witty hippy biker uncle ghost. I had a teenage crush.

Yeah, because rape is hilarious.
