I wouldn't mind hating Jimmy Buffett but I don't. I'd probably complain and frown just a little if someone dragged me to one of his concerts.

New Madness is not as good as The Liberty of Norton Folgate but that was Madness' best album. I'd say the new one is as good as The Rise & Fall. Maybe the highs aren't as high but it's more consistent.

I've been listening to a lot of Terry Callier. I'd heard some before this year and had filed it away in the "dig a little deeper later" pile and then he died and I was reminded to go back and listen. Holy crap, he was amazing.
