Goddammit. If only.
Goddammit. If only.
Every time I laugh so hard at the gag of the song of the episode eventually devolving back into the theme song. Love it to death.
I agree completely with this opinion. Last season took it up another level, and I'm enjoying it more than Childrens now (usually).
I remember when TALKING DEAD was first announced, and I honestly thought it was a talk show set WITHIN the WALKING DEAD universe. Like, a zombie talk show; zombie host, whatever…
CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE OPENING 9 MINUTES OF "SNAKE EYES" PLEASE?
Guys, the failure of BLACK DAHLIA is so frustrating. There is legitimate greatness all over that movie. The one-shot where the murder happens and we're following Hartnett, over the city, and moving back and forth, eventually returning to it; the dinner scene that's entirely POV; the Elizabeth short audition video;…
The saddest thing with this movie is seeing the lazy, nearly-unnecessary use of split screen in this film, versus something amazing like SISTERS, where the split screen isn't just a stylistic device, but actually enhancing the story, switching perspective, and shedding insight.
Love it to death, and that opening jewel "heist" at Cannes is breathtaking.
I'm an unashamed De Palma apologist, love some of his even worst work, but the ending of this movie HONESTLY seemed like a joke.
Honestly, this is what I felt more than anything. Even said "They're Indian Wells-ing this thing" out loud.
He called Walter by his name last week, and continued doing it in this episode. It seems to be sticking.
I WOULD HAVE LOVED THIS STUPID IDEA SO, SO HARD.
Jesse AND Walt's entire confession videos will be on the Blu-Ray/DVDs. Gilligan's confirmed it on the podcasts.
No, it's perfect. And not unlike the final season of DAMAGES boiling down to a Patty Hewes Vs. Ellen Parsons showdown. This is what everything has been building to.
I actually incorporated a production company called Quo Vadimus Productions, I was so taken with this series/last episode.
"Fine merchandise, eh, DuClark?"
I firmly believe we'll be seeing Alana again, but only in this pivotal flashback, or if she continues to haunt Will in his dreams, like how her dad did this season.
Totally! I too, never even thought of the plausibility of elements like if the killer could actually lift that totem. There's arguably much more psychologically farfetched concepts that you've already gotten behind, that tiny details like the above can easily have disbelief suspended.
This is insane. It's such meticulous visual details that will almost SURELY be overlooked by the bulk of people.
When I looked at the Emmys and saw NOTHING for Hannibal, I honestly thought that maybe it wasn't eligible somehow. I can understand huge categories like acting/writing/directing being overlooked due to the already full categories, but if any show actually DESERVED a nomination for cinematography and production design,…
