I love this idea.
I love this idea.
It still blows my mind that for a GOOD part of the season, not only are Xander and Killface BOTH blind, but Xander is in that blond rape wig more than he isn't.
It's for this very reason that I COULD see him killing off Ray. I mean, it's not as if he'd be out of work.
I could EASILY see this show mixing things up and introducing "permanent" changes. If "Frisky Dingo" was any indication, this is something that Reed not only likes, but ENJOYS, doing. I would love to get to the in-joke, heavy continuity levels that season two of Frisky Dingo eventually hit.
That George/doll scene in Monks is truly spectacular. The whole new shirt bit and the "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUT SO MUCH KETCHUP ON IT?" "I LIKE my ketchup" and the way that George just snarls his lines into his food as he chews is so good.
Yeah, that's a really solid line.
I'll also jump in and say that I think season 5 is the only "bad" season, that they realized this, and completely corrected their course with season 6 (whether you thought Zoe was a good idea or not). With how this season is going so far, I'd say they've continued to stay on the right track.
Can anyone confirm if that was Mark Heap in Cougarton Abbey?
I'm sorry, but this second episode is super solid. The chanting of "color chart!" was great but, "that includes all the space-related lies" is just a fantastic line.
God, they name the episode that, and then NO ONE even eats any salad! Totally lame.
Exactly. This is what I'm excited about.
Interesting you say that, because I was picturing how Walt would act in the same situation and I definitely DON'T think he would have handled it as well.
TOTALLY not hating on this episode, but I thought it was pretty predictable that Gus was poisoning everyone as soon as he didn't want Jesse to drink. Still fantastic, but totally obvious.
Walt looks so fucking terrible during it too.
Also, obvious pangs of that season one conversation Walt has with his family about not wanting to do chemo and be remember as a sick husk.
Definitely thought of that too. I mean, it makes sense for them to record him and study it in order to learn to cook the same way, but there's hard proof of Jesse cooking meth.I guess he may be obscured by the tox suit.
Mad Men will NOT be eligible next Emmys.
You know it's going to be a good episode when it's a Michelle MacLaren episode.
I'm still thinking about the prospect of Gus and Mike dying, and Jesse being stranded in Mexico, not knowing the fuck where to go.
Haha, I was going to bring up my partial love/acceptance of Wes, but I too, think it was just Olyphant adoration. I guess Wes WAS a good guy for her, and his re-appearance at the end of season 3 reinforced this, but yeah.
"But I won't let her." EXACTLY.
If Ellen did take Patty's offer, I'm sure she'd be going through that same endles bullshit that Patty was wringing Tom through about getting his "name on the sign."
