This was SUCH a Jon Pertwee homage. Did nobody else realise he was directly imitating Pertwee when he karate-chopped the sword out of Robin's hand?

Wow. After basically hating the first episode, and only kind of appreciating the second one, I really liked this one. I thought the tone was perfect. I was unreasonably pleased by Capaldi's brief replication of the Third Doctor's infamous karate pose, for one thing. Also, no spoilers, but I watched the leaked versions

You should all watch Hollyoaks. I don't think you're prepared for such levels of crappiness.

Fuck!

His daily YouTube series, the Trews, is a pretty great. Fox News are easy targets, but I'm still shocked every time by the amount of horrible harmful bullshit the most popular news channel in America puts out.

Sick of the song, but that amazing Grand Rapids Lip Dub video makes up for it.

Yeah, I never used to like that song until I realised I had been hearing the radio edit my whole life. It was really confusing when the song just failed to end and instead became awesome.

Yeah, I think it looks really really bad. I can't imagine anyone would wear it, especially this Doctor, and in that sense it looks more like a costume than any other Doctor's outfit since Colin Baker.

And now a staple of Ben Wheatley movies!

That's not even the lyric! Seriously, man, it's right there in the song title..

Piggies by The Beatles: musically great, lyrically a lazily cynical chore. Yer Blues might apply too. I feel like that song could be kind of a classic if the lyrics were stronger.

I still think this is great

Going to listen to Because The Internet properly, cus you guys seem nice and I would like to have some enthusiasm for this guy's music. That movie he made still sucks though.

Bonfire sounded a lot like Tyler the Creator and Heartbeat made me think of Kanye West. These aren't bad things really, but we already have a Tyler and a Kanye. I guess I just don't understand how someone can be so good and perfect at one thing and focus all their energy into something they are considerably less good

I absolutely love Glover on Community, but I've heard only a little of his music, and I only really remember thinking that the one with Tina Fey was one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I also watched that short movie thing he did with the title about clapping or something, and thought it was one of the worst

Louis should really get more recognition for his acting, especially since he's often directing himself. I've never seen a man pour his heart out to a woman, get rejected, go home and smash a piano with a baseball bat, then realise she does like him after all and suddenly be overcome with joy, all in one take, so

He was amazing in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Far and away the best part of a great ensemble.

Buridan's Ass was pretty great and the director deserved the Emmy, but I was very disappointed with Fargo overall, especially the finale. Billy Bob Thornton was the only really great part, although Martin Freeman did prove he has some range.

Thank you for saying what I was thinking this whole time!

No? Sorry if I gave that impression.
