Yeah, only the fucking Emmys could make me angry that Peter Dinklage got nominated.

Jake Johnson needs all of the awards…

Really hope Tina Fey and Tracey Wigfield get the Emmy for the 30 Rock finale. That was maybe my favourite episode of anything last year.

Regarding Refn, is Valhalla Rising worth watching? I've heard mixed things but Mads Mikkelsen as a Nordic warrior is a premise I can very much get behind.

Glad to hear this is decent. Just re-watched The Exorcist with a bunch of friends and unsurprisingly it still holds up as the best horror movie I've seen. I'm still waiting for something contemporary to come close to it. This at least seems like a step in the right direction for modern horror.

I beg to differ! I've been in both, and oddly enough it was the girl who said I was like her brother who ended up having sex with me. And she wasn't even a Lannister! Although she was black, so maybe she meant like a 'brother'… (Oh man I'm so sorry but I literally just thought of this and had to say it. Story is true

I kinda like the idea that The Narrator is Ron Howard, as in the Ron Howard seen on the show this season, and he's secretly a Mr. Mxyzptlk-type evil bastard manipulating the Bluths for his own entertainment.

And I mean that way, you do have it

Maybe, but he still ended up a weird reclusive transvestite squatter. Oddly, the only character who came close to getting a happy ending in this season is Lucille, ostensibly the villain of the show.

Todd is such a Ted Mosby. I can't believe I didn't see it till now.

I have two (and that's just the ones who are older than me) and I can confirm that the relationship is another thing this show got exactly right. My oldest sister was often the one to give me advice and bond with me and all that while my next oldest had the freak friends and went out with a lot of Nick types, right

James Franco's monstrous grin from last week demands recognition.

I love Jason Segel, and am thankful he hasn't made a really TERRIBLE movie yet to sully that love. Although Neil Patrick Harris did The Smurfs and I still think he's awesome, so, don't worry, I guess?

Fantastic episode, and great review! These retrospectives are really reminding me just how amazing this show is. This episode is kind of a like a Golden Age Simpsons one in that you don't realise how many of your favourite lines and moments from the series as a whole, like Sam and Lindsay's little interaction at the

I know what you mean, and I do feel like the show needs at least one character who isn't totally evil, even if it isn't Michael, but the fact that this season ends on so many cliffhangers makes me think it's too early to complain yet. It seems inevitable now that we'll get a movie or another season or at least a

I love all the deadpan army/government guys (including Diedrich Bader!!!) in Off The Hook, especially when they dutifully get up because they were sitting in some teenagers' seats at the mall. It works great when everybody but Tony Hale plays their role so straight in his own episode.

Speaking of those flashbacks, how great was Henry Winkler's son as young Barry?

Totally the biggest laugh of the season for me.

Forgive me, but it's been a while since I watched the old show so I've forgotten; when was Tom ever a sex offender?

It makes the story of Michael all the more tragic. Season 3 ended pretty optimistically for him and his son, but by this point he's pretty far gone, and even if he gets the chance to reclaim his title as 'the decent Bluth' in a fifth season/movie, it won't be easy. Certainly is depressing to think there was a time
