This show has some of the best character names ever. Carol Burnett, Wesley Snipes, Floyd DeBarber, Criss Chros, Pete Hornberger, Cerie Xerox… even Liz Lemon is great!

There was a scene in a very recent episode where, after a cutaway showing a clip from Tracy's Aunt Phatso movie, erotic music played while Tracy and Jack stared at each other. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Alec Baldwin can do so much with just his face.

"I have to go. A whale is in trouble!"

When Jack bellows 'DYNO-MITE!!!' I lose it, every time.

One of my favourite episodes is Apollo, Apollo. It's just wall-to-wall brilliance; the random Muppet interludes, Dennis Duffy, everything Tracy says, Bijou.. perfect episode.

"This smells like Hill People milk!"

"What is this, Horseville? Because I am surrounded by naysayers! Wordplay!" is my favourite Tracey Jordan quote.

Who is Conan O'Brien, and why is she so sad?

Well I'll give you that - Monster was always my least favourite - but the mere fact that that song has some good in it means that it is not filler. And that's one song. Not exactly 1/2 the album.

What is it? It rings a bell..

The scariest parts of Halloween are probably the shots of Michael Myers just watching you from afar or walking calmly around in the dark, but the scene I always think of as the most intense is when the girl thinks it's her boyfriend under the bedsheet but we know otherwise… really creepy film.

When BOB appears in Leland's place in the mirror for a split second, mid-laughter, I freeze up every time. Ray Wise was amazing in that role.

YES goddamn it YES

The mere trailer for The Village was extremely scary. The movie failed to deliver on the horror front but the initial advertisements which made the movie look like it was entirely about these weird creatures terrorising innocent countryfolk was very effective.

Yes, the horror of that scene was instantly cancelled out by the talking goat.

He's easily Top 5. Him at his darkest is the very definition of horrifying.

The last shot of the T-Rex roaring with the "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" banner fluttering by tells us just how Spielberg sees the dinosaurs. It's a huge, magnificent monster, far different from the shark from Jaws, which is essentially just a slasher

Yeah, I saw this a little while ago. It's a goddamn outrage. Everybody knows the illustrations were the only REALLY worthwhile parts of those books so what's the point of this?!

I tend to just call it "The Japanese Ring" because Ringu just makes me think of Pingu and then I'm not scared any more…
