That's true, he did say that in the Crumb documentary.  If I recall correctly, he said that when he was a kid he cut out a picture of Bugs Bunny dressed up like a girl bunny and carried it around with him everywhere until it finally just fell apart.

He was very likable in TTYD!.  Jonathan Schaech was also perfectly cast because he just seems like kind of a dick.

That was Tom Everett Scott, although he may have been serving as a Hanks cipher.  I always thought the resemblance of Scott to Hanks and of Steve Zahn to Peter Scolari was interesting, especially since Scolari had a bit part.
