Even trite things can be fun when you care about the characters.

My God, that means fanfic will be even more numerous and accessible in the future than it is now.

It's a shame this MU episode didn't follow the established "kill a Ferengi" pattern.  They were in our universe!  This was our big chance to be rid of Ishka.  Bastards.

The writers should have totes taken Zach's Vertigo idea with "Resurrection."  I think that's the only way it could have been interesting.

So rewatching, the off-screen reconciliation still doesn't bother me because a) you're right, the writers probably would have botched it, and b) I don't really need to see everything, especially overly melodramatic feels.

Sarina's quote made this post for me.

When in Rome…

Damar is just sex on a stick.

This is lovely.

@avclub-0c3e626d1a287cdc48c77515c8dcc243:disqus, MAKE IT SO.  NOW

I think Zack alluded to this, but I think she did this as a way to point out how primitive it is compared to the Link.  Yeah, Odo, stay here with the solids and engage in superficial intimacy instead of being one with your people back at the homeworld.

SPOILERS EXIST HERE

I didn't mind it, @avclub-b31df16a88ce00fed951f24b46e08649:disqus until people started complaining.  Now I'm curious to see if I'll hate it when I watch it this week.

I'd like to have more than kanar with Damar.

I don't think I'd want Dukat to die here.  That ending scene is too powerful.  I would have been okay with him locked up in a funny farm.

This was pretty much my reaction to Ziyal's death, as well.  Man, does that final scene with Dukat affect me.  To seem him shriveled in a corner, quietly whining, and then handing over the baseball just destroys me.

Wackier, maybe, but awesome!

Me, too.  I was always a Rom fan.  He's so happy to work in waste extraction!

Agreed, @avclub-adb4c903674d579c1a43dbf3ae93f077:disqus.  This is why I love the Dukat character.  He is so slickly evil, but also polite and charming, thereby giving him so much more power because he can easily take the masses along with him.

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus, this is why I called Worf an ungrateful son.  He treats the Rozhenkos like shit, in my opinion.  I'm sure he loves them, but he sure doesn't act like most of the time.
