I binged Broadchurch today instead of working on my giant list of crap to do (I'm nothing if not a great procrastinator). The acting was phenomenal. I got the disks from the library, and the 3rd one was cracked, so i bought the last two episodes off of itunes. I couldn't stop watching.

Gilmore Girls really holds up, and a lot of that is the acting…such a great cast. And yes, Melissa McCarthy was so good as Sookie (and so different from many of the roles she favors now)

that kid is so freaking cute. I loved that montage of the ER horrors along with the basketball horrors (i felt bad for the actor that plays Junior — how many takes did they have to do for the shot where he gets the other guy's junk smashed into his face?)
