But really, why aren't we talking about the return of Nora?

But the final slap didn't occur last night. Or maybe it really did, and Marshall got the number wrong.
I will say that it's weird that the one week Donna didn't like the show is the one that Sepinwall gave a thumbs up to, which was the last new ep.
You killed the joke!
HIMYM doesn't seem to have much of a presence on Twitter (at least not where I'm located), but Boys 2 Men (sic) was trending for a while thanks to the show
I was so happy to see Lucky Yates get credit where credit is due and have his name show up in the opening. Maybe next year, Adam will add himself there as well.
And here's one thing that I've been wondering- Lily's character was 106 years old, which is exactly how old Run Run Shaw was before he died. There's no way they could have made this episode after he died, so that is a CRAZY coincidence.
I'd love to see it happen if they consider it.
I think the final slap will happen in a flashforward, probably in the year 2030, or even further up, when the gang is way older and almost have forgotten about the slap bet.
Yeah, Bays and Thomas wanted to make sure that we still see plenty of the sets we've grown to love on the show before it ended, which is why they've been doing a couple of almost entirely flashback episodes. Good on them.
It's… questionable to say the least. This episode was supposed to be a throwback to old-school martial arts films, but to say that society has changed a lot since the peak of these films is an understatement.
I have a feeling this one will divide fans nearly as much as the rhyming episode did, but the reception I've seen has been overall more positive. Personally I loved it, but I have a weakness for martial arts films, and generally like it when the show lets its wackier side show.
With The West Wing fresh on my mind, I can safely say that the first 2 seasons are still incredible
She likes The Prisoner, but doesn't recognize one of the Rolling Stones' most popular songs. Shoshanna's knowledge of 60's pop culture is strange, to say the least.
Did anyone catch which sitcom Shoshanna was watching in the hotel room? It kind of sounded like Friends, but I couldn't tell.
All I remember from Quints is the weird pervy guy's horrible attempt at a catchphrase- yes I am, you likey?
May I just say, Tatiana Maslany loves both The State and Stella. If you need any more proof that she's perfect, well…
I have a friend who tried season 1 of Archer and wasn't down with it either, but I convinced him to stick around anyway, and he finished season 2 in one run. Trust me, it's worth the investment.
ARCHER WHOOO
I haven't seen these episodes yet, but I just wanted to comment that I generally like your Girls reviews, Todd. Please don't feel so down on comments for them.
