Ah, true. That's a part of why I enjoyed Top of the Rock as well.

The choice is between one of, if not THE, quintessential sitcom ensembles or one of, if not THE quintessential sitcom duos. It's a very tough choice, but both Cheers and Frasier are incredible programs.

If I was to make a top 5 comedy episodes list, both Chuckles and Lars would have to make it in. That's how good both of them are.

I think the reason older shows aren't as widely read or discussed about when they're brought over on the site is because of how many great shows are on now. I'd argue that How I Met Your Mother does comedic and dramatic moments strongly as well. Moreso dramatic as of late, but it's easily the best multi-cam sitcom still on in that department.

Yeah, that sounds about right. He's also discussed how David Isaacs had his students watch the first season of Cheers for their homework in one of his classes, and most of his students found it to be too slow for their liking.
