It is accurate to say that Geoff Johns brought new interest to Green Lantern, and perhaps he was better than what came before, but he is a hack. Not only is his writing formulaic and predictable, but his best ideas are just rehashes of the storylines and characters of the past.

It's an odd contradiction for the band. In the last two years, they have done some of the most anti-commercial work of their career: vinyl-only releases, prohibitively expensive gummy products with music inside, crazy videos with full frontal nudity, and music that is guaranteed to never get mainstream radio play. Did you not see the video for Watching the Planets? It's full of naked people of both genders riding bicycles. In the end Wayne's own Lil' Wayne even makes an appearance.

I would love to see a movie of the Born Again storyline. That probably means it will never happen.

I'm having a hard time getting into this album. Normally I embrace all of the Lips' sonic adventures (I even paid for a StroboTrip toy with the Six Hour Song), but this album just isn't very exciting. Maybe it's because they've been releasing so many things a lot like this over the last two years.

I've yet to read his other books, but I did read Against the Day. I was ready to be done with it by the end, but overall I found it enjoyable.

Yeah, I definitely saw those Aliens commercials when I was a kid, and never thought anything amiss.

I think the The Age of Adz is mostly pretty good (if you can get past the autotune).

I saw the original when I was in high school. Literally the only shot I remember is a bad guy being sliced in half straight down the middle.
