It had tons of style and looked great but that was pretty much the anime equivalent of cosplay.  Other than character design, it didn't really have anything to do with Batman.  They basically took a scene from a generic anime and drew bat ears on it.

I'd love them do a Marvel Knights/Defenders/whatever movie along the lines of Avengers:  Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider (too soon?), Blade, maybe Dr Strange… give them all their own (lower budget, R-rated) movies and then bring them all together for one.

It's generally accepted around here that an F is so brain-smackingly terrible that it's worth watching to revel in its sheer ineptness.  D- is the "gentleman's F" which is reserved for stuff that's truly awful but too boring for the kind of hate-watching an F encourages. It sounds like this show is too morally…
