"…kindly Holocaust survivor Mr. Holtenwasser saying that Jimmy makes him “see the other side of sterilization”) are the sort of gags that come off as too calculatedly “edgy.” - Naw, that's just brilliant dark humour writing.

Fantastic news! I'm curious to see what Mr Burr brings to a sitcom. Especially with Vince Vaughn involved!

In the same way that there are also Black Widow action figures too.
For the Avengers release, my understanding is that they left off both Black Widow and Hawkeye (though the blogosphere was really only angry about one of the two absences.)

And they didn't make Hawkeye toys either. Your point?

I could be misremembering, but didn't Morgan essentially force Rick to start digging a proper grave (outside Alexandria sure, but still, a hole in the ground instead of just dropping his body off as Rick wanted to)?

I think perhaps, we remember the moments where compassion brought people down. But, just think back to this season, the last episode they rescued Scott (the fellow who got shot in the leg), prior episode had Carl risking his life to save that Ron kid, and in the first episode this season Rick not only saved Ron's

I disagree with the idea that every act of kindness has led to a character being killed. This episode they rescued Scott (the fellow who got shot in the leg), last episode had Carl risking his life to save that Ron kid, in the first episode this season Rick not only saved Ron's life but was in fact rewarded for

They've tried long form stories (the hospital, all of season 2 etc) with mixed, to little success.

Maybe, if you don't like a bleak and depressing show that really won't offer much hope and happiness, don't watch a show set in the post apocalypse where the dead try to eat you.
