Or season 4's awesome Death Takes a Holiday, in which Sam and Dean both (temporarily but purposely) become ghosts, only to be captured by Alastair using common hunter tactics.

Maybe the secret room had a protection spell or something on it, so the only way they could get through it was by finding the physical switch? I guess that doesn't explain why they never tried to peek through in the first place, though.

I find it hard to believe that anyone can hate the Ghostfacers. Their episodes were always great, as few as they had. (Speaking of which, they really need to bring them back!)

Not only are are the Leviathans going to be part of the main storyline for the remaining episodes, but also the Archangels are coming back in a couple weeks! Followed by Crowley and the Alpha monsters from last season! Woo! Everything's coming together!

I would LOVE to see what Supernatural could do with a big-screen budget! Maybe Kripke would come back to write, too.

That's true. Van Ness seemed to kind of be a "super ghost", so even if she had protection, he could have probably broken it.

I think L-o-l-a is probably right. Sam could be charming enough without a soul to get her into bed if he really wanted. Then @avclub-1aca001488b1e7b7b23a9f02919f4640:disqus was right, about the dirty, dirty animal sex.

If I had to guess, I'd say Whitman Van Ness was probably somehow behind it. He'd been sucking down ghosts for a long time. It might have been possible that he had enough "mojo" to fend off any reaper that would dare try to take his souls from him.

There's probably DNA in there somewhere, as @avclub-1aca001488b1e7b7b23a9f02919f4640:disqus said, but it's also possible that the flask meant a lot to Bobby, so much to him, that it now holds him to the world. Supernatural has had previous cases where the ghost was tied to the world not by DNA, but by an object they

It looks like it, but we don't know for sure. All we know is that this season will end on a cliff-hanger.

Yeah, that's how I took Dean's anger over the whole thing. It doesn't help that Death himself basically told him, "Look, you need to STOP fucking up the natural order! Okay?! Nothing good EVER comes of it! Got it?!"

Yeah, I agree. Bobby doesn't seem to think that ghosts have anything once they've been burned. In season 2's Roadkill when helping that ghost chick move on, Sam seemed to discuss a belief that there's something better out there for ghosts. It's come up a few times, the ethical issues regarding the burning of bones,

Maybe he's learned from his mistakes?

Hurricane Fluttershy? That has to be my least favorite episode ever, well, maybe after Hearths Warming Eve.

Maybe they could sacrifice the wizards to the gods, hmm? Like the wizards have done much for them lately. I guess in their defense, they did give us a string of beloved but under-preforming comedies, but on the other hand they gave us Are You There, Chelsea, so it's a bit of a toss up.

Britta [on Jeff/Annie]: That's not right. Now a grown white woman and a young black guy driving across country, that feels right!

Hey, thanks for outing yourself, buddy. Now I'm sure tons of others will come forward with their (non-self-diagnosed) Asbergers.

JEFF WAS AN ANGEL ALL ALONG, SENT FROM HEAVEN TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES!

This wouldn't happened if you'd just learn how to properly eat a taco, buddy.

I'll agree with you about Cougar Town but… Modern Family? Maybe if it was still in its first season, but modern Modern Family?
