It's called "The Flinstones".

I'm afraid so.

They do kind of have a backlog, but it's not as large as say American Dad! which at this point has over 30 unaired episodes with more being produced. In contrast, The Simpsons backlog episode count would be closer to 12 or 13.

Watch Terra Nova every Monday on FOX!

I actually don't mind the show becoming more cartoony. Now, My Name is Earl was a great show, but as it went on it did get cartoonier. Compare season 4 to season 1 and just look at the difference. However, I feel that it worked to it's advantage, and was for that same reason funnier than it had ever been (season 4 is

They actually work 2 days a week. But damn it! Cookie is right! Let's kill the fat kid!

The teens went on to explain how Two and a Half Men is the funniest show on television.

I don't understand that logic. So the better an animated show looks, the creepier it is? In that case The Flinstones was the pinnacle of modern animation. I'm sure everyone is real excited to have it back then!

Well, sure The Simpsons looks as good as Futurama does nowdays, but I don't think they show it off as well because they aren't as flashy about it as Futurama is. Nor should they be. They don't have spaceships, robots, and alien planets, so it kind of makes sense.

You simplify things too much, my balding sideways glancing friend. Or not enough. The point is, you haven't simplified them exactly the right amount.

I must disagree. Unless they're going to re-render that scene or something, I don't think it'll look too great in 3D, if only because early '90s CGI technology hasn't aged well, and it's very noticeable. There's a reason Pixar went back and re-rendered the first two Toy Story films using modern technology when they

This only proves to them that America loves things they've seen before, and they love 3D. No need to bother making silly traditional hand-drawn animation anymore, when you can just re-release a 20-year-old film with some 3D effects thrown on and make a crap load of money instead.

I would click the like button to your comment, since you make a big point, *ahem* but, I don't want to make people think I like Jerry's giant dick.

Agreed. In the first season you had a few standout episodes: ""A Smith in Hand", "Stan of Arabia" (1 & 2), "Star Trek", "Finances With Wolves", "Roger 'N' Me", and "Helping Handis".

Yeah, I forgot about that. The point is, continuity while fun to argue about, is really kind of meaningless.

Plus, the pay is probably pretty decent to. Come in, record 2 lines an episode, and take home a big fat check. Occasionally they might require you to say more than ten words, but it's worth it for how little work you have to do the rest of the time!

The problem is the writers want them to be a lovable gang of crazy bastards. The problem is at the same time, they want them to be flat mouthpieces for jokes, even at the expense of character building. They want to have it both ways, even though they quite obviously can not.

In other news, Seth MacFarlane takes over The Simpsons.

That, actually, kind of makes sense. The part about American Dad! not necessarily being in continuity. American Dad! has made references to Family Guy being a television show in-universe, while in Family Guy it too made a reference to Family Guy just being a TV show in the Dad!-verse. On the other hand in one episode

Agreed. Everything after the shark appeared was non-stopped laughter. Not that it wasn't funny before that - it was - but for me everything after that was the best part of the show.
