Notice how all the discernable clips are (rightfully) from the first 8 seasons.

Yeah, the newest album was a bit of a let down, but everything before that (except for maybe the first album) are absolutely killer.
Went to see The Dismemberment Plan on Saturday at the Ottobar in Baltimore. The Plan are great live and this time was no different. Opening band was a really cool feminist punk band War On Women. They kept mentioning how The Dismemberment Plan sounds like some brutal metal band.
I'm so glad someone here mentioned Supervillain John McFlemp. Probably my favorite childhood show.
"Nipples cut off"…now THAT'S tantalizing.
Ted Leo. Even though he's hardly a celebrity at all, I can't think of a musician or any other entertainer who I respect more or who interests me in every way.
I saw them open for Cave In a couple of years ago, they were indeed intense. I think the lead singer was barefoot if I remember correctly.
Doch! Nicht eine musikalische Schönheit wie Italienisch, Spanisch, oder Französisch, aber dennoch schön.
As a fluent German speaker I can say German has a certain beauty in its less than silky smooth tones.
If horse racing is the sport of kings, then surely football is a…very good sport as well.
"Silver Age" is such a quality album, totally agree.
I rushed to read "Treme Explained" after each viewing, it is top notch. I'm going to pore through them again before I get enough money to finally take a trip to NOLA.
I was thinking the exact same thing as they were throwing those creative insults around.
"¡Son rocas, Hank!""¡No, son minerales!"
I love this album but I love Perfect From Now On ever so slightly more. I've seen them seven times live and they always kill it. One of those times they played Perfect From Now On from start to finish and it was one of the best shows I've seen in my life.
Would you call that a beardover?
Chris Wilson (that guy) definitely could use some himself these days. This picture was taken a couple of years ago. If you seen him lately, his hair is still long, but starting to lack on top. He'll have a skullet sooner or later.
I saw Ted Leo and the Pharmacists live in State College, PA. They put on a quality performance as usual (I've seen him seven times live) and they played a couple of new songs, which sound a lot along the lines of The Brutalist Bricks. Overall a great show.
"Everybody That You Love" and "Felt Just Like Vacation" by Bomb The Music Industry. I was going through a bad patch when this was released. The first time that I heard this and read the lyrics I swore Jeff Rosenstock was following me around and taking notes.
I noticed that too. I thought it sounded a lot different then previous seasons. I wonder what the reasoning was with the change.
