Idiocracy keeps getting closer.

I've never tossed a penny into the internet wishing well before, but I'll do it now. Please don't explain.

Only the presence of Chang could have made this the most perfect taste test video ever. Editing is hilarious!

Nothing in this house is inappropriate.

CN - I'll be the odd man out. Good luck with those firsties. I hope you get what you want out of them (even if it's to have someone you meet on the internet torture and kill them).

I have the book on tape (well, CD) version of his book "Catching the Big Fish" and he reads it himself. The speech patterns are very fun to listen to, but I especially love when you can hear a tiny bit of laughter bubble up when he's amusing himself.

My guess is it's all random wreckage, but it all looks like things from his own life. It really is his wreckage.

I scanned through this list looking for Mick Harvey, and was really surprised the AV Club didn't show him the love he sometimes gets around here. He kept the wheels on the Birthday Party and the Bad Seeds, and was a massive creative force, to boot. It might be a tad hyperbolic, but Nick Cave wouldn't have a career

From the preview for next week, it looks like he challenges the devil to a game of quarters.

Isn't who-likes-whom the only thing that the spirits really know? That's why they always want to force their way in to our dimension to talk about it.

How about some Mary Gaitskill? "Veronica" was stunning, and it was a finalist for a lit award - Booker Prize or something. Indie cred = same author as the short story that inspired the movie "Secretary."

If you can catch who's moving the planchette, it's a great way to figure out which one of your manipulative friends you should be distancing yourself from. That's girl power, right?

Just re-shuffle and ask again. Someone new is certainly going to text me now, right?! Hooray, I'm popular! With the undead!

I didn't take Oly's forced striptease to be that she had an act of her own. I took as her deformities needing to be exposed, and that she believed that she was meant to be seen as she is and not hidden away. I think she wears a wig, etc. is because she lives in norm society - forced to since her real home was
