Too bad Nathan Rabin wasn't able to take part in this discussion. I was looking forward to the declaration that "Watchmen" made "Citizen Kane" look like a piping-hot pound of pony dung. And I wasn't the only one:

The show should bring back the "Switch the Question" lifeline. It was really the only chance a contestant had against some of these high-value questions, such as, "How much does it cost the U.S. Mint to produce a dollar bill?"

I also dislike the "do or die" component of the Double Dip lifeline. I wonder if another reason they got rid of the 50:50 is that contestants were suspicious about which two of the four answers were taken away (even though the elimination is random), especially if they had said aloud which two answers they were

The Time Clock
I think the addition of the clock only gives the illusion of a faster-paced game. Some contestants seem to be pressured by the dwindling clock into using lifelines too soon, and this takes up time on easier questions. I would bet that the number of questions answered per show is about the same when
