This is a good point. The best songs on ASD are not the the feeble attempts at "rockers;" rather, those are the weaker songs. Although I like "Merry Go Round" (and "Nobody" and "When it Began" and "The Last"). I appreciate ASD for what it is, not decry it for what it isn't. So it doesn't really bother me.

One can only hope. Too often, though, this show goes for the salacious. In this instance let's hope Fellowes, et al. opt for the tasteful restraint you imagine.
