I think that is the point—the total waste of unnecessary violence, and the "innocent" (relative to the situation) victims their lives and actions claim as collateral damage.

You may be right, Prole Hole, but it was never my impression that DW fans raved about Ribos the way they did the Hinchcliffe stories of the Baker era. I should look up one of those fan rating/voting lists.
