This somehow made me miss Community's myriad film spoofs, and kind of topped a lot of them (well, at least it came out of left field).  It's always better in my book to be an optimist/realist but I love how it pitted Liz's pessimist/realist against Jack's optimist/idealist within a Batman spoof.

The biggest problem for me tonight was that the show clearly didn't know what to do with the entire hour. It's like they had the basic idea set, got a call from HQ that it had to be an hour, and padded it with a few extra storylines, a lot of running gags and a hell of a lot of cutaways.

I think she deserves props for making all of her characters pretty distinct even if they'll only ever be on a few episodes.

We're talking about the woman who has played the title roles in such movies as "Blonde and Blonder" and "Whore"

ah shucks, Wiki tells me its "Idiots are People Three!"

I hope next week's episode is titled "Idiots are People One!" I also hope they use Denise Richard's presence for a good Charlie Sheen joke (or, at the very least, that CBS comedies are clearly the Idiot's preferred shows).

The best humor is underlined by truth, and considering Tracy Morgan didn't seem to have much of a factual understanding of homosexuality I'm not sure it could be considered a joke.

The Robert California story line had shades of Party Down's
"Nick DiCintio's Orgy Night" right down to the stripping to the nude climax.

Watching Abed watch a show that came to an abrupt but tidy and planned end was very distressing on a show that we all sort of fear could come to an abrupt but unplanned and messy end due to the ratings.
