seven episodes in and i am loving this show. i don't know whether the first few episodes were not as quality as what's followed, or whether i was just skittish due to negative critic reviews (or both), but once i settled in and just decided to take this show as it comes, i have found myself really enjoying it.

watching this *very* belately in summer of 2017, but regarding the various responses to this episode and its experimental format, i'm wondering if the series would've benefitted from the 'drop all at once' model, like master of none. i just watched that season 2 in binge-fashion, and knowing that there's another

and he was doyle on gilmore girls!

you did hear that they are bringing it back for a two-hour wrap-up (to air in 2018)? announced earlier this week (yay)

having lived for a time in the UK, i noticed that it's more common for folks in europe to understand the oppressiveness of this term, whereas having been back in the states for a decade now, rarely are folks i'm around aware that there is even any problem with it (including the formerly ubiquitous 'gypped'). and this

a few years ago i cringe-watched that movie with naomi watts and robin wright **spoiler alert** sleeping with each other's teenaged sons and wondered, what the hell happened to her career? (wright having 'house of cards', i figured that cancelled out the embarrassment of this film)

a few years ago, i caught up with the last handful of seasons of 'ER' - and angela bassett was phenomenal! (as was her hubby, courtney b. vance)

haven't yet checked out 'bates' but yes i remember him and i loved him and the dark-haired love interest as well. and aside from the hotness, yes, the show had an emotional layer that i totally dug (including her sweet relationship with the nephew). probably my fav relationship on the show, though, was grace &

yes - i *loved* holly hunter in 'saving grace'!

having seen two episodes, i am liking this show. and yes, melissa leo is awesome

i've only watched this first episode of this season's HOC and i'm already bored. i've watched the prior seasons of 'bloodline' - should i switch over to that instead? (am in the mood to binge-watch but have run out of shows…)

there's a fantastic swedish film called 'together' and this aspect comes up - highly recommend

that is actually what they look like!

that podcast sounds interesting - do you know which one it was? thanks in advance.

as a memphian and a lover of this show - and of ron c jones - i love this idea!

if i understood jennie snyder urman's post to fans, they will be flashing back to some of the grieving process, but the time jump also allows them to have jane be more like her 'bright' self, rather than solely focusing on the pain and sorrow.

aww, sue ellen and gary were probably my two favorite characters from _dallas_ and _knots landing_, respectively. (well, lilimae was right up there on _knots_).

i don't even follow pro football and even i balked at those low stats, so thanks for your informed insight here. a basic thing they should've gotten right.

i gotta disagree - i appreciate that these elements are included with the reviews (which i very much enjoy, btw). i don't know loads about music, but i find the descriptions of its use in the show very interesting and informative. and since reading these reviews as i catch up on this excellent series, i, too, have

the comment here by 'kristin rawls' provides a detailed description of the special program in scientology that focuses on dentists and confirms that the show's depiction is accurate, in that regard - look for her comment - quite illuminating!
