I concur.  That song is distractingly bad (1. Bond title song should include the name of the Bond movie, and 2. Chris Cornell should never, ever try to sing outside his range), but the animation is so elegant and smooth that I think it redeems the whole endeavor.

The titles for Live and Let Die disappointed the shit out of me, but that's just because I watched it as an adult after hearing the song so many times that my expectations were prohibitively high. Personally, I don't know that the opening credits ever topped Goldfinger.

I'll admit to some ambivalence toward Scott Pilgrim: I appreciate that they crammed all six books into one movie, just because the box office might not have allowed for a sequel, and because it gives the movie a seriously manic tone.  However, that tone becomes exhausting over the course of two and a half hours (I

Pffft.  Adele's song was passable, but it pales in comparison to the best James Bond theme of them all: Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name."

Yeah, I actually looked the credits sequence up on YouTube several weeks after seeing the movie, partly to hear that Led Zeppelin cover again and partly to see if the images make sense after seeing the rest of the movie (answer: kinda?).  Given that I will never watch that movie again, that's a point for the credits.

My enjoyment of the opening titles for Zombieland (like my enjoyment of the movie as a whole) was limited by the sense that I would have enjoyed them so much more had the movie come out when I was 16.

Isn't it a relief that after all that hand-wringing about the destruction of Watchmen's legacy, DC went and released an ever-expanding mess of titles whose variable quality and sheer bredth will prevent any casual Watchmen reader from ever touching them?

It's interesting: he's clearly developed a personal defense mechanism against his own batshit craziness, which he is now applying to other batshit crazy celebrities.  Look at the people he mentions - Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Mel Gibson.  Basically he's saying, "I'm not crazy, I'm being persecuted by a cabal,
