Squandered opportunity.

The WTFPWNing in this case was taking ZMF's stupid comment and making a much better comment at its expense.

I've picked on you a couple of other times, ZMF.

@Trurl: it was still stupid when I did it, but I meant to be stupid, so everybody thinking "What a retard." was my intended result. Take that as you will.

ZMF the avclub staffers may have canonized you but I was commenting in all caps the day they turned on comments. The reason being I thought the comments were a horrible idea and I was ironically imitating the type of dreck I thought was sure to follow. I wasn't disappointed either as anyone who remembers the early

This makes me so happy..

Ahahahahahaha

You're a fucking idiot if you take your opinion of SNL this seriously.

Grading on the SNL curve..
..this is definitely a B or B+. I think the big problem with the Wiig driven sketches is that they don't move. They just stand in place repeating the same joke over and over, there's no evolution. If you can't think of anywhere to take the joke, end the sketch.

Awful, awful, awful.

Awful, awful, awful.

The new Chuck episodes are WAY, WAY worse than the worst episodes of House have ever been. Ugh.

A+++++++++++++++++ COMMENTER!!! WOULD READ AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oliver was good..

@Smillner: I spent a decent chunk of time composing a thoughtful response to this episode and your response to me basically consists of "Fuck you for not being a total fanboy!" Okie doke.

Confused?
You're confused because the last half of this season has been written very hastily, and it shows. There's a lot of things that make absolutely no sense when given the benefit of analysis, which the writers obviously had no time for.

The writing credits don't tell the whole story. My recollection from the time (and it's been over 13 years so not saying this is infallible) is that the change in the band's sound, gradually becoming less heavy from Badmotorfinger, through Superunknown to Down on the Upside, was mostly Cornell's decision.

Please for the love of Rock

I nominate Ken McGregor for biggest idiot in the world for the statement:

Those games suck. They've been pretty much the exact same thing for years and years now and they are really poorly designed and desperately need a revamp.
