At least this one, unfortunately.

I'm just gonna throw this out there…. did we hate the performance because it wasn't feminine? I mean, Madonna/Brittney/Gaga have all pulled the same stunts, but they got away with it because there was still something inherently feminine about them. Miley just looked like a guy/lesbian/tranny hooker. (I'm for real…
I think they're different. (I do!) Brittney/Madonna felt like a passing of the torch AND was naughty because it felt like they were playing at showing us something we wouldn't normally see. We all got to be voyeurs for that. Miley was different: she was trying to look sexual and turn us on, which is cool, but instead…
Yes. This. If she could put her tongue away and close her mouth a little bit in general, she wouldn't look so fucking stupid.
So I know this is old, but I'm just watching it and…. why o why is there no screen cap of the "Don't forget a bitch" sign Black Cindy is holding at Taystee's party?
This weekend I showed both Turbo and The Conjuring. I didn't watch Turbo; my kids and all the other kids who came to see it loved it while the adults seemed bored. So I don't feel bad that I skipped it. The Conjuring was a bit of a storytelling nightmare but looked beautiful.
Oh, Diamanda Galas, how we've missed you.
Same here. I'm still trying to find the time in "I Will Wait". That chorus is pretty bad.
OMG. That song. Why did you have to remind me that song was a thing?
808s and Heartbreak + Watch the Throne = exactly what I need right now. I'm only on "I'm a God" and I'm trying hard not to skip ahead to see the incredibleness of which you speak.
I showed The Great Gatsby and while I understand all the arguments against it, I don't care. I love it.
I'll post it here because, well, I don't know any of you and it's safe. My husband is one of those with a cuckold thing. I've been with 4 other men, sometimes with him watching/joining, sometimes on my own. He has loved every minute of it. It took me a few years to wrap my head around it and it does NOT go both ways;…
I looked over and saw that this was playing on an XM channel and Mr. Final Girl wouldn't turn it up to let me hear it. He just said, "Nah. This song is crap." I wanted to like it to spite him….but I just can't. I have to begrudgingly admit he was right.
Noted. Then I should amend my statement: not all theatres get paid to play trailers. I m clearly not playing this game right. But then, I only play 3 trailers no matter what.
Theatres don't get paid to play trailers.
I also grew up in Texas. And I also listened to The Cure and The Smiths when some of those around me were into Pantera. (We could all agree, at least, on Ministry.) It seemed like as we got older, everyone knew someone who knew someone who knew one of the guys in Pantera. I never liked them then, and now the only song…
And at that moment, the drudgery of dental school would be worth it.
If I were a dentist, I would totally help him, because Shane McGowan.
I gave a few of their tracks a listen. And if by "pretentious" you mean "unwilling to try to find melody" then, well, these guys are pretentious. At least their music was, for the most part, refreshingly free of growling.
I would have fucked Adam Ant.
