Parallax View was one of those movies that I kept seeing on rental shelves or listed in program guides and would always think, "I should watch that."

I used to have a VHS copy of the Criterion laserdisc. I loved it so much I had one copy of the movie and special features and then another copy with the commentary.

It's not a space squid. It's a being from another dimension. They very clearly say so in the postscript section with the reporter that "some dudes were fucking around with shit and they tore open a hole and that thing came through and died and it's deaththroes psychically killed everyone in NY".

Hrm… I fail at posting order.

I posted it up higher. So mine will be seen first. MWAH HA HA…

"I've seen worse"
That's what always gets me in the commercial. He's all Renfieldy "Bleh dunn look a' me!" and she says "I've seen worse."

It's hard to read any of the bigger industry news sites without hearing about how Pettyfer is supposed to be a major douchnozzle.

I worked at a theater as an usher when the first one came out. And because of the draconian rules of Lucasfilm, an usher had to stand outside of every showing and check the tickets of everyone entering…even if they'd just come back from the bathroom.

Puppetmaster but only up to number 5. Fuck that Retro and Curse of bullshit.

I've only just started watching it again this season, but Chuck has a suprisingly number of fights involving dudes and chicks. There was one episode a couple months ago where Sarah fought some dude to the death in a pit.

Cyrus was a potentially good movie that couldn't decide if it wanted to be a weird squirm-inducing comedy or a mopey mumblecore emotionfest.

But we can all get behind "Peter Pan & the Pirates", right?

Competing Pan project…
…is already in the pipeline. It's called "Pan" and it's a serial killer movie with Peter Pan characters and references lazily shoehorned in. (example: Captain Hook is the main character, a police captain). And it's going to be directed by the people who did the animated sequence for the last

That was after it had already been pulled from the schedule and then brought back months later to have all but the last episode burnt off.

The 2003 version would have been fantastic if the kids didn't fucking "scream act" through the whole thing.

I don't know…that 3rd one is less nitpicky than very accurate.

Ma-Rrrria from Neee-ca-rrrrrragua who works in the caf—a-terrrrrrria.

That was Marvin. Vicki has a hat.

Cool Jeff
I'm surprised you didn't mention how much of a violation showing that video was. The most important thing in the world to Jeff is being cool. Annie knew that and showed it anyway. There isn't anything more painful she could have done to him than make him look uncool.

I laughed at everything Pierce said at the podium. I didn't care how mean it was, that shit was hilarious.
