Shade: The Changing Man
Though my madness isn't nearly as useful, I relate way too deeply to that character and everything he goes through in Peter Milligan's 70 issue run. Especially the Hotel Shade issues when he's missing a piece of his soul and when he removes his heart and keeps it in a box after losing Kathy.

It's available to watch online at Netflix.

Cool as Ice is amazing and I'm surprised Nathan hasn't done it yet if only because it was Janusz Kaminski's first American film. It's shot beautifully, including this opening rap/dance number with Naomi Campbell lip synching and people dancing around with those lights that mechanics use when working under cars.

I'm disappointed in the lot of you.

Outlaws was a damn fine game. The one flaw it had, as our unregistered friend noted up thread, were it's graphics. They weren't just outdated, they were really cartoony. Which might've been intentional to undercut the brutality of the game.

I'm pretty sure every comment I've made tonight has been directly related to either the thread in which it was posted or to the post which preceded mine. At least that was my intention. I apologize if I came off as non-sequitorial (and for my little passive-aggressive jab up thread…we all have our trollish tendancies)

I didn't even think about how they were gonna explain how the plane vanished for a week. I was focusing on once they landed.

I don't believe I ever said that anyone who wanted answers was an obsessive nerd. In fact, I haven't insulted or disparaged anyone for disliking the finale or elements of the finale.

The point of Christian's speech wasn't that everything that happened on the island happened.

It's not Purgatory.

at the very least*

I think it's unfairly dismissive to say that the science fiction elements were nothing more than scenery.

Artz and Frogurt weren't ready to let go.

Yes, Anna, it is.

Do we really know how much time passed between the Ajira flight leaving for Guam and returning to…wherever it eventually landed?

And everybody loved those midichlorians, ammirite?

I stand corrected! Thank you, Psst.

The didn't all die with the atom bomb.

Just because they "died" doesn't mean that the alterna-verse was Purgatory.

Who says they discounted it?
