Porpoise Crispy

C'mon, every nerd knows that lostpedia.com is the preferred wiki to go to.

Oh, no. Named after blasphemous Latin, not the locale. Meant to be said as an exclamation, as in "Porpoise Crispy, Batman!"

Roman numeral 200?

Community College?

Doc Metro is right, I'd like to know when anybody's fool enough to give me lip back after I issue some verbal menace.

Obscure punk song???
Can anybody help me out with this?

I may bail on this show
Between Toby's labored "mean judge" shtick and the focus on contestant romances, it's starting to veer towards American Idol/Big Brother reality show dreck.

fair enough (& concise).

Grindhouse
If "riotous and generous" means tediously self-indulgent, then sure — the Grindhouse double feature is the campy riot of homages that keeps on generously giving long past the point most audience members will care to watch.

Didn't realize Martha had facetiousness in her repertoire, that's what threw me off.

Yeah, I'm aware of the backlash against Martha the snobby, bitchy insider-trader. Since I don't watch her, I'm pretty indifferent. But I suspect that her scallop-diving claims (IN JANUARY!, IN MAINE!) are slightly exaggerated.

scallops & cleavage
I know her whole persona is built around the do-it-yourself ethos but did Martha Stewart actually say that she dives for scallops in Maine in January?

Noel:
I've enjoyed Popless and applaud your Herculean effort and steadfast perseverance in the face of accusations of hipsterism, douchbaggery and bitchassness from the commentary.

By "some of the reasons stated above," I meant reasons stated in the review/essay, not in my own comment.

Happy Valentine's Day
I live near a video store where the clerks are legendary for their barely concealed disdain for customers' rental tastes. They also set up displays featuring themed staff picks available at a discounted rental fee. I once saw they'd put Irreversible amongst their Valentine's Day recommendations,

I kinda prefer her unkempt look to the prim housewife/formal equestrian fashion.

Just stick with the marching bands - nothing wrong with tubas
These forced attempts to add pop music to the games ALWAYS suck.

insightful, thanks.

UTZ
I missed last week's episode. From the recap, I know that Jimmy Barrett clued Betty in to Don's affair with his wife.

Like Noel, I had a similarly lackluster initial response to Robert Johnson.
