What Is Burn Notice?

"IS IT A B SHIRT?"

How is this always the first comment in these threads? Do you write for the AV Club?

The show's prognosis? After all the main castmembers die, they'll just use 50 years worth of audio recordings to make new shows. "The Simpsons" will survive the heat death of the universe.

I was 17 when The Simpsons premiered and a regular viewer of both shows. Never made the connection.

Nope. I never made that connection and I don't think it's true.

This is a pretty dumb article. "The Cosby Show" has been off the air for over 20 years and Dr. Hibbert doesn't resemble Dr. Huxtable all that much anyway. I never even knew he was supposed to be a satire of Cliff Huxtable. Zero reason to believe the character will have to be retired.

All the primes, of course.

So we shouldn't use words because stupid people don't know what they mean?

Singin' In The Rain. Of course, I don't like musicals that much, and I've never liked dance movies. And that movie also denigrated silent film, which I love. And it had Donald O'Connor as the most irriating character ever. I sat through the whole "Make 'Em Laugh" song and prayed for death. And the

"Our basketball hoop was a ribcage! A RIBCAGE!"

"Kind Hearts and Coronets" is a British black comedy from the 50s about a commoner who happens to be ninth in like for a dukedom, so he decides to kill the eight members of his family who stand in his way. It stars Alec Guinness—not as the killer, but as all eight of the targets. Including one woman.

OK, well, it's hard to convey a condescending tone in print—but people who use the word "mansplain" are people who want to shut the man they're talking to up.

There's a whole episode later where Jim shamefacedly apologizes to Karen, when they raid the Utica office.

I didn't like that episode of "Extras". I couldn't figure out why David Bowie was so randomly cruel to Andy out of nowhere.

I had a DVD box set of "The Office", and one of the extras was the original script for "Dinner Party". It was even darker than the version that went to air. Jan admits to killing a neighbor's dog.

I liked the crosswords at the end that a four-year-old could do.

I agree, I was one of the few people who didn't like Seinfeld. All the characters are mean, hateful people. And for me, a pathetic virgin nerd, seeing Jerry come up with reasons to break up with all those hot women was irritating.

We do?
