I always figured the crooks wouldn't talk to the police from a general no-snitching principle rather than anything else.  But if that's the only real plot hole the movie has, it's much smaller than the average heist movie (and more importantly, it works while you're in the theater.  Plot holes you don't catch until

@avclub-1881baeccb7399f3452cd7f37cdb2b29:disqus I dunno, I can honestly say I've never looked at a "hacker" character and decided I needed to see the actor run her fingers over a keyboard and say "I'm in" before I would buy the performance.

A realistic response is to say "this is all your fault" to the person who blew your cover.  A Schmidt response is to follow that up with "I will destroy your happiness."

Yes, but when he first talked to CeCe, she was obviously expecting this- she said something along the lines of "I know you chose Elizabeth, just tell me already."  And then Schmidt said that he chose her, and so the last few weeks for CeCe have been her feeling that she's incredibly lucky, like she got a second chance

When people begin to criticize a show because its nerd character doesn't wear glasses, I don't even know what to think anymore.

    Would you say you want…

    Nurse Jackie regular-character contract>>>>>>>>>New Girl guest-star contract

I was hoping it was "Clitoris."

Hmmm… you deliberately misconstrued my point, but it was a way of proving that I was misconstruing yours.  Well played.

I would totally rather party with Pope Francis, because I would never be tempted to ask Pope Francis why he tried so hard to make all music shitty in the late 90s.

I liked this exchange between Jess and Schmidt:

    Smooth glass, it will pass.

Yes.  This.  Schmidt just had probably one of the worst experiences he's ever had, and he knows it's his fault, and he can't deal with it, so he's putting it off on the two people who were trying to get him to behave like a decent person.  It's stupid and selfish and completely human.

Same here.  I have a feeling they're going to send Schmidt down a bit of a spiral, and while that might necessitate him acting like an asshole for a while, it's much more interesting than a season of Cece/Schmidt/Nick/Jess double dates, with Winston constantly trying to justify his continued presence by acting like an

Yeah, conflict is terrible for a TV show.  Let's just have everyone sit on lawn chairs and laugh together for the next 19 episodes.

I, for one, stopped feeling sorry for Schmidt the moment it became clear he was capable of emotions like anger, grief, and petty jealousy, never mind the moment he acted on them.

Of course, he apparently just ran out of minutes, which is great, because "Nick tries to buy a cell phone plan for the first time since 1999" is a C-story just waiting to be written.

@RobertMosesSupposesErroneously:disqus if he didn't want to be left out, he shouldn't have had such a problem with using the fragrant oil.

There are going to be MEN in this sitcom?  That's so sexist!

Huell didn't appear in Breaking Bad until Season 5.  If @avclub-55ae05b87b7a91c1d26aea0fffd28910:disqus knew what was going to happen in Breaking Bad 5 years ago, he should have told Gus Fring in exchange for a big payout that he could lie down on at his leisure.
