I'd second Secret as a good starting point…it's just slightly more poppy. I also might recommend the Live album, since that has a good cross-section of their songs and shows what an ace live act they are.

Either the Sasquatch, or the other Sasquatch.

Food for thought: ANY ring is a cock ring, if you put your dick in it.

I'm a big fan of the Crooked Fingers cover (BANJO!):

That was my complaint about the first record (which I did enjoy) - that it leaned on the same tricks over and over again. Second albums are always hard anyway, but if by the next one things aren't diversifying a bit it will probably be a concern. Good live show though.

You're wearing it on your finger.

Yeah, fair enough. If it wasn't obvious, I was pretty conflicted about saying anything at all. But hey, pixels are free!

I don't mean to seem ungrateful, and I'm glad it got reviewed at all, and like I said, it's not an unfair review.

Did someone send up the Tity Boi signal?

Y'all got fake poo?

If he didn't want to get exploited, he shoulda put an ass on those chaps.

Comment/username synergy detected…

I dunno, I think the subset of people who know who Skrewdriver is, is even smaller than the subset who know who Swervedriver is. (For reference, popular awareness of the band in your username probably falls between the two).

The large high-rez photo at the top of the article is making me notice a couple cover details I never had before - the Rude Boy pin (perhaps a nod to Prince Buster, who was sort of a Prince precursor in perviness?), and the fact that the black and white contrast on the bedsprings behind him makes it look like an x-ray

Deanna said her husband was responsible for building the wall using materials from a nearby under-construction mall. And after the ZA, "unsightly" is the least of your problems.

I really liked it too, and I liked Wilfred but that is actually the comparison point that is worrying me. I did lose interest in Wilfred after a while, such a high concept and strange tone can be difficult to sustain long. Still, for now, I am definitely in.

"Amazing support beams for those walls. I sure hope no zombies randomly develop amazing balance and climb up those ramps they have."

["Amazing Grace" on bagpipes]

I just assumed it'd be easy enough to not inhale much (draw the smoke into the mouth and not lungs, though I'm not sure if you'd still absorb some THC sublingually/through the gums) and Kimberly is just a kid with a crush, she probably wouldn't notice that he was mostly faking smoking.

Well, I was responding to a comment about turning back the clock…besides, "blue dress", what're ya gonna do? I'm not made of stone.
