Nah, she obviously reads the comments and is trolling commenters hard.

I hope the Harvey Birdman quotes around here never go dry. When that stupid movie came out it was like Christmas every day up in this place.

Your menstruating heart ain't bleeding enough for two.

But you can't have it.

I Believe It. If they could even find me on the Other Side.

I think so. Supposedly the couple in the "Slash Yr Tires" video is modeled on them.

Pretty bland. Why wouldn't I just listen to Menomena instead?

Yeah, it just was…inert. It had the *sound* (nobody can make a guitar sizzle like Shields can) but the songs just didn't go anywhere. It's not bad, exactly, it's just not weird enough.

They aren't strictly shoegaze, but The Twilight Sad have some shoegaze elements, and the new one is the best one they've done IMO.

Luna IS great, but yeah I'd love a G500 reunion.

Seconded Ringo Deathstarr. Highly derivative (so's Tamaryn) but lots of fun. "She took my cardigan" cracks me up every time I sing it.

I've been digging the Tamaryn records. Beaches (an un-Googleable all-girl band from Australia) are good.

I've actually wondered if Ian Brown has bad stage fright or something; the difference between his vocals on record and live is staggering. It's possible they just always get the absolute best takes and lots of studio trickery, but Brown live sounds like me doing Roses karaoke or something. It's awful.

GOOD GOD I WOULD TRAVEL FOR THIS
