I don't want to keep ragging on a show I love and never miss. There are so many positives about Southland that I hate to see it come this close to greatness.

Visually, ( as us industry insiders, ie: people that watch TV, would say) it was quite something but I was in the middle of thinking, " Why is everyone wandering around? If this guy is still on the loose, shouldn't they set up a perimeter or something? ( I 'm also a law enforcement insider.)

Please keep Ruben. I've said before; i'd vote to keep Lydia's partner even if they were Barney Fife or Shane Vendrell. But since neither of those gentleman are available ( though perhaps that lovely Venus Van Dam could work undercover) , then keep Ruben.
