I know it looked surreal ( yelling at that gorgeous child while she was playing gorgeous music) but that it is actually a very realistic portrayal of the suckiness of being a parent. The kid had to do her fucking homework and it's Louie's job to make sure she does it.

When The Closer first started, it looked damn beautiful. I think it was shot on film or that rich video that looks like film. And the opening sequences were usually shot unconventionally - something I don't see with Major Crimes. But it had a certain je ne sais quoi and a nice organization.
