I really don't see how you can call her behavior at the end a front. And her ability to talk about her husband is different and represents progress. The movie gives no indication that they are in further danger, despite the grief still existing it is powerless against her. It ends hopeful and content that she had

Right. Not saying its dead at all. But to say she doesn't defeat it is wrong.

I feel like me and you are the same person. We should get some caramels sometime.

It doesn't feel temporary to me. The fact that she can talk freely about her husbands death and let sam have his birthday on his normal day shows that she's changed and isn't letting her grief control her life anymore.

I agree. The idea was good. The movie was not.

She definitely does. Its shriveled and weak and no longer a major influence on her life. Locked away

Really the only good part of this movie was the premise of how creepy it is to have someone slowly walk towards you

Its worse actually. But none the less satisfying when she conquers that part of herself

I like beema, but he's wrong on this occasion its a great film

Every week is the babadook week, as it should be

It is well earned

It follows could have been a good short film. But its characters were bad and the length made them do stupid things with the monster , like the aforementioned snarling

Slasher 80s throwback or metaphorical haunting via grief demon

I disagree with you on everything but the dinosaur roar. I thought the effects and the monsters look were very creepy

First of all It Follows had a great premise but was a boring movie with silly scenes such as the monster snarling in anger at the beach and standing on the house for no reason. Not to mention contradicting its own logic a couple times. Not scary and pretty dull.

Similar to Guy Pierce in Prometheus

I agree then. It is weird to see a college graduate with a job

Oh i did. Im the one saying Ledger was actually funny

Are there Supergirl comic fans?

Idk her age, but she looks pretty young around 20. If there was a youthful looking college age Superman it wouldn't be too weird to call him superboy
