If I were Jesse, I'd be more afraid if Mr. White left an old man in a wheelchair at my doorstep.

I'm hoping they remedy this for the bluray.  They deprived us of the echoing turd-splash that would have kept us satisfied for a year.

I'm glad the executions happened so efficiently — and it makes sense so that the officials would have no chance to protect any of them.  But the "cool down" aspect actually made me more tense.  Scene after scene of things going smoothly, Walt saying that he's out, the f'n pool scene: I kept checking the time on the

Listening to the Breaking Bad Insider podcast, I think VG definitely "cares" about the viewers a lot more than Chase did.  Chase's philosophy seemed to be "It's my show, I'll do whatever I want with it and you'll like it or hate it and that's fine by me."  Gilligan's seems to be more along the lines of, "We owe

I'd kinda like that, too.  Before that final inevitable beat, there's the suggestion that he might be able to do just that.  He's made more money than can be spent (or laundered by a car wash).  Lydia's new business seems to have gone off smoothly.  He reaches a point I didn't think he'd reach: he's had enough.

It think it's that Mike had his own moral code that he stuck by.  He was a killer but there were things that he would do and things he wouldn't.  Walt's morals, OTOH, have steadily eroded/evolved.

It seems like during this season, Vince Gilligan is daring the audience to maintain any empathy for Mr. White.  It's even hard to root for him in a Scarface anti-hero manner.

I'm curious about the different versions they create, too.  I haven't heard any f-bombs slip through in the AMC broadcasts, either.  But they definitely account for different versions so… I don't know.
