I think that's the thing with Todd.  He's earnest.  Some were speculating that he kept the tarantula as some kind of psychopathic kill-trophy, but I read it as him just genuinely thinking it was a cool pet.

One of the cake pops was George W. Bush.

My guess — and I might have read someone else suggest this somewhere — is that Skyler's going to somehow accidentally smoke the ricin-laced cigarette that Walt has saved.  No one has actually died from the ricin on the show yet.  Tucco was shot by Hank.  Brock ingested Lilly of the Valley.  And they've set up Skyler

I'm guessing a major breakthrough by Hank will be our cliffhanger, too. That'll give us the final 8 episodes to deal with them jousting.

I definitely think he could be a problem.

Horrifying.

Horrifying.

Hard to say definitively until we get to the final episode and see if they manage to stick the landing… but YES.

It was kind of sweet.  And Todd seems to make for an ideal student.  Humble, subservient, not wanting to discuss monetary compensation until he properly earns it.  Seems to cater to Walt's monstrous ego perfectly.  Although, Gale seemed like a perfect student, too.

Agreed on the cold open.  The "Say my name" dialogue seemed to be trying to come up with something along the lines of "I'm the one who knocks", but the logic wasn't there.  Yes, Walt's ego is on overdrive these days but it makes no sense for him to demand that this guy says his fake name.  Maybe in a revenge scenario
