I like the show.  I like the show a great deal.  I think it's filled with some brilliant moments and character observations.  I tend to find it sad and wistful more often than "funny" — but I'm fine with that because it's still compelling and completely unique.

The LOUIE universe is strange that way.  From the episode, it looks like Maron still lives in an apartment somewhere in Queens.  And he's also quietly aggravated because he can't afford pants.
